Impact of the Blog in the classroom

Well, I can truly say that the usage of the blog in the classroom could be a real "eye-opener" for the student as well as the teacher.I have never used a blog before,but by developing and using one I could see a huge impact in the classroom.Students could use the platform to strengthening ties with fellow clasmates,finding common ground with peers around the world and teachers could monitor this activity to find students ability levels.
Using the blog as a tool to help students gain vitial communication skills and help to strengthen their computer abilities would also be benificial.Connectivity with other students offers up the chance for students to find different views on subjects offered in the classroom such as social issues and current events.
